The Greatest...

J was a special Community Helper today at Ek's school for the K4 and K5 classes. He came to speak about, of course, how he helps the community. I was so pleased at his presentation though. He really took time to point out who was the greatest Community helper of all time, Jesus. I am grateful again today to be in service to a King who does not ask us to do what he has not done. "And this is how they will know you are my disciples, by how you love one another." What an amazing example Christ has put forth for us, to pray for one another, bless one another, teach one another, heal one another, feed one another. Hebrews tells us we have a great high priest who knows what this life is about, because he has been here. I have renewed strength today after a presentation about being an ophthalmologist! J just exhorted the kids to follow Jesus's example and serve and love one another. Awesome.

By the way, Ek was so thrilled to have us at her school. She said her friends liked her daddy. They were so attentive to his presentation and very bright. I hope that it just ministered love to our sweet girl and confirmed again in her heart that we are always ready to love her, even when she is at school. I pray she knows how valuable she is to us. And they liked the cookies, whew.
PS The girls are playing beauty parlor, Emerson, the red head, is the stylist!
