Ek's request

Ek requested that I write about the Nutcracker. She had practice today and I do think she is enjoying. Well actually she did say it is her favorite thing right now. The practice schedules are a bit confusing and the girls end up having a good bit of playtime while awaiting their turn, but when its their turn you'd better be ready. Ek said today she was doing to "smile and listen." It is quite fun watching all these little girls with hair in buns, in their black leotards and pale pink tights running around. One little girl said while waiting, 'some girls are in the green room playing Monopoly, you can come too, anybody is welcome!' hilarious. Ek was excited tonight because they finally got to practice with the 'real candle.' She said they said not to turn it on though and she obeyed. She also said she heard a gun go off during the mouse scene and she sure hoped it wasn't pointed at Caroline or Leah. hilarious. Oh I can't wait for the curtain to open.
