Great Week

Tonight was the last night of the program for the kids at Backyard Bible Club. We had about 60 kids there tonight and probably about 20 kids who visited on other nights. Pretty amazing to think about the opportunity we had to love these kids, encourage them and teach them from the Bible. It was really a fantastic week. We saw so many smiles, such great participation and quiet listening. It was a real blessing to be a part of. I can't wait to see how many are at the family cookout tomorrow, we are estimating about 150! Ek said she loved the slides, jumpy house and the Bible stories. Gregg was saying these kids will probably have these mental images in their minds for a long time, I sure hope so. I am still quite speechless over the unity of our little church, it was truly God's team.

Just a quick note to say how filled with praise and JOY I am that your Backyard Bible Club went so well! How grateful I am that our Lord proves faithful every time we step out in faith. It's amazing, isn't it, how wonderful it is to see everyone come together for the gospel!

We finished our last day yesterday and are leaving for the carnival/cookout ourselves in just a bit. Such fruit, Katharine, both in terms of those who came forward in faith for the first time and for those great meaningful times with other young ones. Amazing the ministry it is to the youth!

And I LOVE the boat!! What talent! Thanks for stepping out there and bearing that first weight for your new body. God is glorified...that makes me happy!
