We laughed and smiled the morning away today at the theater watching Ek's dance recital. It was really so much fun. The girls were all adorably dressed and rehearsed as they performed their dances with the theme of 'Dancing through the Movies.' Ek's dance was a Disney princess tea party. She loved it and it suited her so well. We loved to watch her confidence and how well she knew the routine. She had a great time playing with her friends, especially Caroline and Leah, backstage while awaiting her turn. All the grandparents came, L and H were both quite anxious to see her on stage. All and all, a great success. J and I are both hopeful that this is great training in confidence building that the Lord will use for himself one day.
One thing that made me laugh out loud this morning was I was saying something about her dress rehearsal yesterday and she said, "yeah, and we even danced!" In other words, she didn't just practice getting dressed.
